Eric Clapton & Friends’ The Breeze Mini-Documentary Chronicles Making of JJ Cale Tribute Album

Eric Clapton will honor the legacy of JJ Cale with a special collaborative album entitled Eric Clapton & Friends: The Breeze, An Appreciation of JJ Cale due out July 29. Beginning tomorrow, fans can watch the mini-documentary behind the album exclusively at Amazon. The teaser is now available to sample below. Pre-orders for the album are ongoing.

The guitarist brought together the likes of John Mayer, Tom Petty, Mark Knopfler, Willie Nelson, Derek Trucks and Don White, among others, to compile a 16-track album of beloved JJ Cale songs. The album’s title is derived from Cale’s 1972 single “Call Me the Breeze.”
